The Complete Guide to Designer Denim lays out my absolute favorite brands of jeans. Though some of these brands come with a higher price tag than other denim brands, there are still so many deals to be found. And they are well worth their price tag for all the reasons that I share below.

I have rounded up some major jeans on sale at the time of this post and linked other options on LTK for each brand. To shop, just click each image to see a variety of styles from that denim designer.

BLANKNYC

BLANKNYC Jeans

BLANKNYC jeans are the best! And out of the several brands on this list, they are one of the most affordable too! BLANKNYC jeans are comfortable first and foremost. They have a variety of styles with so many of them having a great deal of stretch allowing for even more comfort. These jeans also just fit well. From where they hit on the hips and thighs to the overall length, BLANKNYC just gets it right. And if you are a lover of distressed denim, look no further! BLANKNYC knows how to distress a good pair of jeans. They are an absolute must-have on the Complete Guide to Designer Denim.

Shopping Tip: Check these out at Nordstrom Rack for less than $50 a pair both online and in-store.

Joe’s Jeans

Joe’s Jeans are a classic! Legendary! There’s a reason why they have been around as long as they have and retained their popularity! Joe’s Jeans are a go-to for me because of the comfort. The pairs that I have and wear on repeat have been so broken-in that they just fit me perfectly. Speaking of fit, sometimes the Joe’s Jeans fit can vary by style. For this reason, I always try my Joe’s on just to make sure that the style works for me. But in general, Joe’s is a great brand to look to when on the hunt for a classic pair that will never go out of style.

Shopping TIp: I have found Joe’s at TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack for way less than their online retail price. This is one brand I won’t pay retail price for.

Joe's Jeans

FRAME

FRAME has to be on the Complete Guide to Designer Denim! They are known for making some really unique styles. Some of my trendiest yet fun pairs are by FRAME. And each was well worth the higher price tag for its uniqueness. FRAME is one of the more expensive brands on this list at $100 or more per pair, but their quality and craftsmanship make them a brand to be on the lookout for.

Shopping Tip: Shop the Nordstrom Rack app and search for FRAME. You can find them on sale for under $100 quite often.

Madewell

Madewell jeans are named appropriately. They really are made well. One of the things I love best about Madewell jeans and why they make the Complete Guide to Designer Denim is because they make so many styles that I can wear to work for a casual Friday. So many of my favorite brands don’t make those “church” jeans that I can wear to work. But Madewell does and they make them amazingly too. Madewell also makes the best high waist styles which is just another one of the many reasons that they make this coveted list.

Shopping Tip: Madewell in-store and online will run some crazy good deals where you can get jeans for $50 or less per pair. Subscribe to their emails or make sure you follow me on LTK to see when one of these sales occurs.

Hudson Jeans

Hudson Jeans

Hudson Jeans have to be on the Complete Guide to Designer Denim because they are a well-made pair of must-try jeans. One of the things that I love the most about Hudson Jeans is that they are so well branded. They are known for their v-pockets, rivets, and symbols. The brand is also unafraid to try a variety of styles, patterns, and trends as their loyal following is legit, and go for anything they create.

Shopping Tip: Hudson Jeans are often on sale at Nordstrom Rack, especially at the actual store. Search online or through the app to see what they have in stock too.

There are some other brands that I really like but fall just a little short of those above! Here is the list of honorable mentions on the Complete Guide to Designer Denim.
